Day -01:Arrive Delhi
Arrival at airport and transfer to the hotel
Day 02: Delhi - Leh
On the morning transfer to the airport to catch the flight for Leh,Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel ,rest of the day for acclimatization because of high altitude of 3500 Meters above sea level , Evening short walk around the local market,overnight Leh
Day 3: Leh
After breakfast proceed to visit Leh Palace and Sankar gompa .
Leh Palace - Leh Palace is former royal palace overlooking Leh town,the palace was built by Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal in 16th century modelled on the Potala house in Lhasa in Tibet.
Sankar Gompa - Just 3 kms from Leh is this monastery that has a formidable collection of miniature of pure gold and a number of exciting painting. It is well lit and may be visited in the evening as well ,overnight Leh
Day 4: Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis
After breakfast proceed to visit Shey ,Thiksey and Hemis monasteries.
Hemis Monastery -This is biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh. It is situated 49 kms to south of Leh, a little off the main Leh-Manali road. It was built in the 1672 AD By Ladakhi king Sengge Namgyal and ever since has enjoyed the patronage of the royal family. Hemis is the headquarter of the Drukpa order and all the monasteries throughout Ladakh are administered by it.
Thiksey monastery is a most imposing structure providing a panoramic view of the green Indus valley from its vantage atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, stupas and tankhas.
Shey Palace and Monastery on the way to Hemis Gompa and 15 kms far from Leh is the summer palace of the Raja of Leh, set upon a hill sitting Buddha wrought with copper and gold that leaves one lama beforehand, many chortens can be seen to the east of the monastery ,overnight Leh
Day 5 : Leh - Khardung La Pass - Nubra Valley
After breakfast drive to the highest motorable road of in the world Khardungla (18,380 feet or 5,578 m). Nubra Valley lies in the north of Leh.,on the way to Nubra visit Diskit Monastery and explore Buddha statue ,overnight Nubra
Day 6: Nubra - Leh
After breakfast drive to leh,upon arrival check in the hotel,evening at leisure ,overnight Leh
Day 07 : Leh - Sarchu
After breakfast drive to Sarchu via Upshi and we have to cross second highest motorable pass in world (Tanglangla Pass 5350 Mtrs.) Enjoy the nature beauty of the mountains continue drive through More plans there are chance to see tiny colonies of Marmots, Yaks and Herbs. At Pang we stop for lunch continue drive to Lachungla pass 5065 Mtrs rugged in the middle of the mountains. Arrive Sarchu tonight our camp will be at 4200 Mtrs. and it will be the coldest night during the whole tour, Overnight Sarchu
Day 08 : Sarchu - Jispa
After breakfast drive to Jispa,Sarchu is the border line between Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh after 20 Kms drive we enter into Himachal Pradesh and Today you will cross Baralacha La pass 4883 Metres, Overnight Jispa
Day 09 : Jispa - Manali
After breakfast a short drive to Keylong the head district in this area and we will stop here for one hour to visit around the local Bazar and continue drive to Manali finally we reach Khoksar where we stop for passport checking and lunch. Continue ascending towards Rohtang pass 3978 Mtrs. and another 51 Kms drive will take us to Manali , Overnight Manali
Day 10 : Manali
After breakfast visit HIdimba Devi temple ,Manu temple,Van Vihar National Park,Vashisht baths and walk around old Manali,overnight Manali
Day 11 : Manali - Dharamshala
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala on the way visit Triloknath Temple in Mandi,. Finally reach Dharamshala in the evening which has risen to the International fame as"THE LITTLE LHASA IN INDIA" Since from 1960 when it became a temporary headquarter of His Holiness the Dalai Lama visit the monastery. Overnight Dharamsala
Day 12 : Dharamshala
After breakfast proceed to visit Dalai Lama temple ,St.John church ,Kangra Art museum War memorial and Kangra fort,overnight Dharamsala
Day 13 : Dharamshala - Amritsar
After breakfast drive to Amritsar,upon arrival check in the hotel , In the afternoon visit the Golden temple ,Jallianwala Bagh and Wagha Border,overnight Amritsar
Day 14 : Amritsar - Delhi
After breakfast walk around the local market of Amritsar. In the afternoon transfer to the railway station to catch the train for Delhi,upon arrival transfer to the hotel,overnight Delhi
Day 15 : Delhi - Back Home
After breakfast visit Jama Masjid ,Red fort ,Raj Ghat ,India gate ,Qutub Minar,Humayun Tomb,Lotus temple and Akshardham temple,in the evening transfer to the airport to catch the flight back home.
